Last month, the natural gas industry’s trade association argued that the public interest has no business being involved in oil and gas rulemaking. As long as the public needs to breathe the air in Pennsylvania, we disagree!
The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking public input on revisions to our oil and gas regulations. If you want the state to make our health and well-being a priority by reducing toxic air pollution and curbing emissions of climate-warming gases, please attend one of the upcoming public hearings and express your support for strong drilling rules.
You must register in advance to provide public testimony by calling (717) 783-8727. The hearings are from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the following locations:
